Soulmate

One of the most excessively misused vague terms is “soulmate”. If souls from across the Universe could get together, they would have filed a joint complaint to Soul Right Commission against humans for even coining such a term. Since when did souls start mating? What do we understand about souls? What do we understand about ourselves? Who are we? Are we the physical body of flesh and blood? Or are we the thoughts that run through our awareness? Or are we the feelings that we experience? Where can we locate ourselves if we divide ourselves into physical body, thoughts, feelings, sensations, and awareness. Many philosophers have spent their entire lifetime understanding what corresponds to us. Several schools of thought after thorough research have come up with the conclusion that the concept of “I” is illusive. Despite such efforts, we still don’t completely understand our true essence. While philosophers are busy understanding our true nature, some people irrespective of their race, ethnicity, caste, creed, religion already made a jump from the human plane to the soul plane and the first thing they intended to do after reaching the level of their soul is to find a mate. As if the souls have whispered in their ears that they are desperately looking for a mate. So next time you use the term “soulmate” be careful, there may be some souls watching you!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I'm a scientist, researcher, writer, mother, cook, organizer, nature lover and explorer. Amidst of everything that keep us moving, I often get lost. This is when I take a break and go on a one-on-one date with myself. I pen down my thoughts and make these blogs.
